After a long, brutal winter, The Milnes Company is making great strides in progress on the Lemon-Tunkhannock Township Wastewater Treatment Plant. After clearing snow from the site and digging the foundations, the mat of the Oxidation Ditch received its first concrete pour, totaling approximately 90 cubic yards. The Milnes field crew successfully placed and cured the concrete to specs even during the cold weather of early March. The foundations of the control building have been dug and have started to be formed for concrete. With the weather breaking, job progress should significantly accelerate, and more progress will be shared shortly!
