Milnes attends Outreach – Center for Kids Community Career Fair in Scranton, PA the end of August.
It was a great event that illustrated to Pre-school to elementary aged kids a variety of meaningful career options.
Lexie Langan Mines Engineering, Construction & Survey’s Business Development Leader sat on the committee for the event & attended, as well as, Karen Milnes-Siebert, and family friend & business associate Eddie Walsh from Kuback Excavating & Logging. The group was there to represent the trades and the important impact laborer’s have on our community!
It is early access to careers and the concept of work prepares students for the real world & helps to keep them engaged by making the connection between what they are learning in school & why they are learning it!
