Staff members of the Milnes Companies are committed to challenging themselves and expanding their skill sets in an effort to better serve Milnes’ clients and, recently, Milnes’ own Eric Kyttle passed the Professional Surveying Licensure Exam making him a licensed Professional Land Surveyor in the state of Pennsylvania.
Kyttle described the rigorous process of becoming a Professional Land Surveyor. “I had passed a test five years ago to become a land surveyor in training (LSIT) which started a four-year clock before I was even eligible for the Professional Surveying Licensure Exam,” Kyttle said. “I then had to apply to the PA board with an amplified record detailing my four years of experience as well as four references (fellow surveyors or engineers) verifying my record. Once I was approved I completed the exam in Mechanicsburg, PA this past April.”
Kyttle’s achievement allows him to survey a piece of property and certify his work according to strict state standards. He plans to continue adding to his professional credits by pursuing licensure in the state of New York.
