Position Summary:

Milnes Engineering, Inc. is looking for qualified and energetic candidates to be involved in a wide
range of engineering projects and tasks that include site development, transportation infrastructure,
water and wastewater facilities, stormwater facilities, oil and gas facilities and pipelines, and
municipal engineering.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Actively assist the Project Managers (and others as may be required) in the delivery of a
complete project. Beyond project specific design efforts, this may include phone, e-mail, letter,
etc. correspondence, attendance at meetings, cost estimates, project specifications, project
documents that need to be completed, etc. Project Engineers/Design Technicians are expected
to be able to promote innovative design ideas, and will be expected to understand guidelines
and regulations governing the design of any given project.
This position offers the opportunity for advancement into a Project Management role.
Engineering licensure is strongly encouraged for this role.

Minimum Qualifications:
Computer aided design and drafting skills (AutoCAD Civil 3D experience preferred)
Experience in aspects of civil project planning, design and permitting
Able to handle multiple projects concurrently and maintain flexibility to changes in work
assignments as changes occur in projects
Ability to function in a team environment and culture of cooperation and collaboration
This is a mid-level position and will require any applicant to discuss their experience relative tothis type of work

Experience and Education:
Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering with civil project design experience of two to five years
is preferred.

Certifications:
Engineer-In-Training (EIT) or Professional Licensure in Pennsylvania preferred.

Experience and Education:

Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.

Certifications:

Engineer-In-Training (EIT) preferred, not required. Applicants can be actively pursuing this certification.

wide range of engineering projects and tasks that include site development, transportation infrastructure,
water and wastewater facilities, stormwater facilities, oil and gas facilities and pipelines, and municipal
engineering. This position requires previous experience with this type of work.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• The Project Manager is responsible for the delivery of a complete project. This effort shall be within a
defined project schedule and budget. In order to be successful, the Project Manager must balance
the client’s needs with the needs of the firm. Beyond leading the project specific design efforts, this
may include phone, e-mail, letter, etc. correspondence, attendance at meetings, cost estimates,
project specifications, project documents that need to be completed, etc.

• The Project Manager will be a key member of the management staff that will work to continuously
develop and improve the company’s strategic plan. This will include consistent effort to develop and
maintain business, input and direction to consistently ensure optimal performance of staff, forward
thinking and ideas to improve operational performance of the firm, development of new initiatives and
implementation of those initiatives, and consistently developing ways to improve the culture and
moral of the firm.

• Ability to develop business and interact with current and potential clients

Experience and Education: Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or civil/environmental experience of at least five years.

Preferred: Professional Licensure in Pennsylvania and/or New York.
