Karen Milnes-Seibert is the third generation of the Milnes family to be in a leadership role with the company. She began her career as the office manager and corporate secretary. Today, Karen serves as the chief financial officer, overseeing the accounting and financial actions of the company. In her role leading human resources, Karen is also responsible for the overall administrative functions of Milnes.

Karen earned her bachelor’s degree in business and her MBA from Wilkes University. Prior to joining Milnes, she worked in the public utility industry.

In addition to her roles at Milnes, Karen is devoted to community service in the greater Tunkhannock area. She has served as an active member of the board of directors of the Wyoming County United Way for many years.

George Milnes joined Milnes Construction nearly 40 years ago as a member of the construction field crew. In 2007 he was promoted to general superintendent, construction.

In this role George oversees the daily operations of the construction shop and is responsible for maintaining appropriate staffing levels in line with project scheduling needs to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. He performs employee evaluations, is involved in the hiring process and manages the information flow from project managers to job supervisors. In addition, George reviews construction budgets, work reports and safety reports. He also assists with the safety and hazard communications programs.

George is a graduate of Williamsport Area Community College with a degree in building construction.

With nearly two decades of experience in the construction industry, Earl Thomas serves as president and Chief Operating Officer at The Milnes Co., Inc. A graduate of Penn State University, Earl holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with a concentration in construction management. Upon graduation, he received a commission as Second Lieutenant in the United States Air Force, and attended undergraduate pilot training at Laughlin AFB, TX.

Since joining the Milnes team in 2013 as a project manager, Earl’s focus has been assembling and leading design/build projects. Presiding over every aspect of construction operations, he is responsible for working closely with employees, clients, and design professionals, including top architects and engineers, to define project goals and objectives, and develop a strategic work plan to achieve them. His vast knowledge of construction methods and applications, and unprecedented leadership has significantly contributed to the overall growth and success of the company.

Michael "Mick" Goodwin has proudly served clients as part of the Milnes Engineering team for more than 25 years. Mick specializes in hydrologic and hydraulic design. As vice president, engineering, he is responsible for consultation services, planning, design, permitting and project management for various civil engineering projects. He also manages the day-to-day operations of the engineering department, including personnel, business development, budgets and project performance.

Mick has bachelor's degrees in physics from East Stroudsburg University and civil engineering with a concentration in hydraulics from The Pennsylvania State University and is a Professionally Licensed Engineer in Pennsylvania and New York. He holds active memberships in the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE), Pennsylvania Society of Professional Engineers (PSPE), Pennsylvania Housing and Research Center (PHRC) and the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA).

Mick is a Veteran, having served nine years in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard as an infantryman and tank commander.

He is also former high school volleyball and baseball coach. He is currently very active in the greater Tunkhannock community and is also an avid hunter and outdoorsman.

Lawrence "Lindy" LaRue joined the Milnes team in 2014. A Professionally Licensed Surveyor in Pennsylvania and New York, he is also a FAA UAS licensed Pilot. Lindy attended The Pennsylvania State University, Wilkes-Barre campus studying surveying engineering.

He has more than 14 years of experience in land surveying and engineering in residential, commercial and industrial applications. He is responsible for the daily operations of the Milnes' survey department.

Lindy also volunteers as a Merit Badge Instructor for the Boy Scouts of America as well as a S.T.E.M. Collaborator for local high school technology programs.
