Surveying Case Study: Peck Boundary Retracement Survey

Lenox Township, Susquehanna County

The Milnes Survey Team was hired to conduct a boundary retracement survey of eight contiguous parcels of land totaling nearly 420 acres.

This beautiful mountainous site includes a natural glacial lake, preserved forest land and a significant local history. These parcels are ultimately to be conveyed to the Countryside Conservancy through state funding to preserve this pristine wildlife habitat for future generations to enjoy.

The Milnes Surveying team conducted a thorough search of recorded documents that traced back to the 1800s and was also able to recover two prior unrecorded surveys. These surveys were vital in allowing the Milnes team to follow in the footsteps of the prior surveyor yielding an accurate, up to date boundary survey meeting the client's needs.
