Milnes Engineering is performing the civil design, and acquiring permitting and local approvals, for a new senior living facility in Tunkhannock Borough, Wyoming County, PA.
The civil design includes the site layout and grading, stormwater design and permitting, utility planning and design, and associated work such as landscaping, site lighting, etc. The project will require zoning and land development approvals from Tunkhannock Borough and Wyoming County, and the site will require stormwater permitting.
Best management practices to limit the impacts of post-development stormwater rate and volume of runoff will be utilized, and measures will be put in place to limit other impacts such as light and noise pollution. Adequate screening of all facilities will be provided, and the project should fit right into the community very well upon completion.
